I just hope things keep going the way they are!

Lets see 1. Levi is now engaged, so that is over and done with. I have no more feelings (as far as I am aware....) for him anymore. I wish him all the best and am glad he's moved on.
2. Mark is gone for good! Thank god. I'm so done with him. I get sick at the mere thought of him. He can go rot for all I care.
3. I have an amazing boyfriend who is the exact opposite of the jerks I have dated in the past. He's sweet, caring, will do anything for me, and he actually likes to clean! Imagine that, and he can cook lol! I told him I wanted to wait a little while before getting engaged or anything, but I'm pretty darn sure that we are going to make it much farther than that. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to resist letting him get me jewelery. I won't let him get me anything until we're together atleast six months (which is up next month! LOL). The only downside is that his job atm is not the best. But hopefully he is going to get a job where my step-dad works and that will be great cause he'll work 40 hours a week and he gets paid weekly soo that will be nice and hopefully we will be able to save up and get our own place fairly soon!!! I can't wait!!
4. My job is going soooo much better than it was when I started. I must have passed some sort of test cause now I am one of them. And we are doing so well that we are moving to a larger building so we can expand and have even more kids!! So hopefully this place will be around for quite a long time :). So I can work there and go to school and who knows I might just stay there if they pay me well enough lol!

Thats about from november to today so I really hope that things keep going this way and who knows sometime in the next two years I might just tie the knot again, with the RIGHT guy this time lol!!!!

And on another note I'm really hoping that soon the boyfriend and I will be able to go out to Cali and perhaps Arizona to visit family and friends!!! I really hope that we can soon!!!

This year has gone by soo fast! I can't believe that the New Year is just a few days away.

I look on this past year and relise how different I am and how much I've learned since this time last year. I was so immature I swear! I have no idea how many mistakes I made, but I definitly won't be making them again!

I have a boyfriend I love and a job I would never give up. My co-workers and I have bonded, except for one but no one reall likes her and she doesn't like anyone so it's all good and I don't have to deal with her most of the time lol. Right now though we're competeting to be in the Toddler room cause she suddenly decided that she wanted to be in there. But I'm pretty sure that I'll be in there next week because she sucks at being in there and the head teacher in there, Felicia, wants me in there cause I totally kick ass in that room.

I can't wait to get this year over with and start off this next year with a bang!

This past month has gone by way too fast lol. I can't believe that October is almost done!

I've mostly been working and doing nothing else. I love my job but some of the people I work with are just really rude and just plain bitches to me. I have no idea what I did to offend them but a few of them have treated me with disdain since I started working there. There are two main ones that really snub me and just act like they are superior or something. Ironically one of their names is stephanie which really throws me for a loop. Like I said I have no idea what I did but they really seem to dislike me and do whatever they can to make me feel uncomforterable. Like just this Friday the two I mentioned decided that they were going to order in Mazzios and were going around asking everyone what they wanted. Except for me. They never asked me at all, they asked the other girl who was in my room, in hushed tones of course, and never bothered to ask me. Honestly I wouldn't have been able to afford it. But it would still have been nice for them to ask.
Also the daycare was going on a field trip for the kids and of course the girls who dislike me got to choose who got to go with the kids. Naturally they chose themselves for one day and then chose the new girls over me and I never even knew that we could go on the trip until the day of.
And then, all this happened on the same day, one of them accused me of losing one of the infants bottles in my room. She was absolutly convinced that it was I who had the stupid bottle last and that I was lieing. I had left the room when the infant was being fed by one of our afternoon ladies. I never saw the stupid thing but I got blamed.

Oh I was so pissed when I got home that day. Friday was a shittly day for me. Idk if these girls are just trying to get me to quit or what but it sure is tempting sometimes. They just downtrod on me until I think I just might blow up. I dunno whether to bawl my eyes out or punch them in their ugly little faces. I just might do both if they keep this up.

I love working with these kids but those two co workers just might do me in....blah....

Well I started working this week :)! I'm working at a daycare in town and I am with the toddlers 1 year- until they're potty trained. It's an interesting bunch, but they're alot of fun! I'm learning alot. But I'm exhausted from running after them all day. So I'm going to go to bed and catch up on my sleep!!!

Oh and there will be a delay on DA since I'm working now. Chapter five is finished and I have already started working on chapter six, so everyone (Dog boy :P) sit tight and I promise it won't be four years before we see another chapter lol :)!

“The news of the Hawk leaders death soon reached the leaders of the other clans. Udel chief of the snakes, Lev chief of the cats, Hakan chief of the fire demons, and Chetwind chief of the elemental demons gathered together in the first known demon council. They decided to band together and form an army against these new humans and the dog demons. The war had many casualties on both sides. The special humans, as they were called back then, were popping up everywhere. They soon numbered in the thousands. Also, the first half-demons were produced when the dogs began to mate with the humans. After fifty years of warfare the numbers on both sides barely numbered over five hundred. The dog clan knew they wouldn’t win with out being nearly wiped out. So with a heavy heart, Kegan made a treaty with the other demons. His beloved mate Aithne had been killed in the war. He had nothing to live for any more. The treaty was that the dogs would replace the humans as the slaves to the other demons if the humans and sub-humans were given a world of their own. The demon clans agreed and took the dog demons into custody. They formed a barrier around what would be their territory and created the world we are living in right now.”
“The humans only asked for the demons help one more time. To educate the sub-human children. So the demons created colleges like this one to teach sub-humans, and eventually half-demons and demons, how to control their abilities and help them find jobs either in demon world or human world. It has been this way ever since. Soon the normal humans forgot about the dog demons sacrifice, and the demons only passed their history down to those in their government.”
“Recently the council has been discussing freeing the dogs from their promise and making peace with them. The decision was going to be made at the next council meeting next week. However, one of their senior members went missing a few days ago. Without his vote the council cannot make its decision. This is where the video comes into play. I warn you, this will frighten you.” Kiriana finished and turned around to start the dvd player.
The screen was fuzzy for a moment and then a dark figure appeared on the screen.
“Hello Demon World. This is your new leader speaking. I have created an army out of those who want the demons back into power! Forget these moronic proposals about making peace. We, the demons will rule supreme once again! Join me and together we will once again reign supreme! Kill those who would make us hide what we are from the pathetic humans. Rise forth my brothers and sisters and become what we were meant to be! Now for our first act of war, here is a familiar face to all of you.” The dark figure said.
A spotlight showed a male cat demon strapped in a chair with chains. He was covered in blood and bruises.
“My fellow demons, do not listen to this man! I am Colin Ottirin, chief of the cat clan and I beg of you, do not listen to him. We need to live in peace with the humans. There is no reason, other than this lunatics quest for power, to conquer these humans. We did not succeed before and we will never win against them. They are our equals!” Colin Ottrin said in a strong voice.
“That’s enough of that, you foolish old man.” The figures voice said.
Another man in all black clothes and a mask on his face came on screen with a large axe in his hands.
“Yuri, take care my daughter. You are my heir, never forget that I love you.” Colin said before the axe fell and parted his head from his body.
“Power to the demons!” Shouted a chorus of voices and the video went black.

Well as I was coming up with this part of the story I had to think about names for some characters. It's harder than I though it was going to be. But I went on to a baby name website and found them :3! So I thought it would be interesting to find out the meani ngs of some of our beloved characters names :).

Michael: Who resembles God

Unfortunatly I couldn't find Tuki or Nix. Now here are the characters you will be introduced to in this part:

The students filed into Miss X’s room and sat in their usual seats. Yuri’s seat and a few others remained empty.
“Wow were there that many hosts?” Damy commented to Viki.
“Looks like it. They really were hidden among us huh?” Viki replied.
“Mike, you live in Demon World, did you know about all of this?” Damy asked Mike.
“Nope, it was a long shot that I’m even here. Dogs are usually aren’t educated, unless it benefits their masters. My mom is the housekeeper in a hawk demon’s house, he wanted me to follow in her footsteps.” Mike explained.
“Damn, I still don’t understand why you dogs are so ostracized.” Viki grumbled.
“I’m not sure either. It has something to do with you sub-humans. The dog race is forbidden to talk about it and in Demon world if I even talk to a demon that isn’t a dog I could be killed.” Mike said.
“They’re probably ashamed of what they did and they don’t want to talk about it.” Viki stated.
“That’s a very interesting assumption Miss Circe. You are fairly close to the truth.” Miss Kiriana’s voice said from behind them.
The students jumped, surprised. Viki regained her composure and said, “Well, I’m curious. I might just be a sub-human, but I think we all have the right to know what goes on in Demon World and why we’re all here. All we know is that we have strange ablilities and we got a letter from a school we had never heard of. Our parents couldn’t say anything to us, we need answers and as our teachers you should provide them.”
“Outspoken as always Miss. Circe. Lucky for you that’s why you’re here. In normal circumstances this outburst could get you in a lot of trouble.” Kiriana said.
Viki blushed and remained quiet. At that moment Miss X walked in the room.
“Oh Kiriana, good, you’re here. We can get started right away.” Miss X said, dragging a rarely used television out of its dusty corner.
“Right, everyone, eyes up front please. You’ll want to pay attention to what we have to say.” Kiriana said, making her way to the front of the room. “Now I’m sure you are all wondering why all of these extra classes are being forced upon you.”
The students nodded in agreement at Miss Kirianas words. Miss X stepped up next to Kiriana and cleared her throat.
“A few days ago the Demon Council received a video after one of their senior members went missing. We have been ordered to show you this video. But before we do we must tell you a bit of history that you do not know. Normally you wouldn’t learn about this at all unless you were going to work in the politics of Demon World. I’m a teacher of Demons and I don’t even know their full history. Miss Kiriana will explain everything.” Miss X stated and sat down at her desk.
“Thanks Miss X. Now how many of you know anything at all about the history of the demons?” Kiriana asked the class.
Raphael raised a reluctant hand.
“Yes Mr. Prith?” Kiriana asked.
“Well when my brother and I started bugging her about what we were. She said she couldn’t tell us everything but there was a battle a long time ago that made it ok for humans and demons to be around eachother. She said if that hadn’t happened Vince and I wouldn’t be here.” Raphael explained.
“Well that’s a very good example and she was pretty accurate. I’ll explain in more detail.” She paused for effect and continued. “Thousands of years ago demons ruled supreme. This world was in their control. Humans were slaves to the demons, and in some cases, their food source. Some clans treated their humans better than others, but they were still slaves.”
“I’m sorry for interrupting..” Viki interjected, “…but why didn’t the humans rebel?”
“That’s ok Miss Circe, all questions are welcome.” Kiriana said smiling. “They didn’t rebel because for as far back as they could remember they had been slaves. They didn’t know what freedom was. Though some received kindness and even love from the demons they served. One such received so much love from her master that he wanted to free her and make her his mate. His name was Kegan chief of the dog-clan and her name was Aithne. Because of Aithne, Kegan wanted to free all the humans in his service. His people rejoiced, but the other clan leaders did not. They were outraged at Kegan because their humans were beginning to run away and learn what freedom was from the freed humans. The leader of the Hawks, Tynan, was having a particularly hard time with his humans. “
“One day he brought a particularly rebellious human, Girvan, into his palace in chains. He brought the other humans into the palace as well. Tynan wanted to make an example of Girvan, hoping to quell this rebellion. Tynan motioned to his soldiers to begin whipping Girvan. The soldiers smiled as they whipped the prisoner, laughing at his cries. The other humans began to weep.
One woman, Girvans wife, Cairine cried out ‘You may kill my husband, Master Tynan, but you will never stop our quest for freedom!’
Tynan growled with frustration and motioned to his guards to capture Cairine. Girvan cried out in protest and with the last of his strength he screamed, “Stay away from her you bastard!” A bright light eminated from his body and not a single demon was left alive. Cairine wept at the loss of her husband, but knew she and the others needed to get out of there before other demons arrived to find Tynan and his men dead.”

“That creature was punished. This child isn’t responsible for that. Just try it out, you might be surprised at how little you really know about the dogs. Please don’t make me ask the council to order you.” Miss X threatened.
“Fine, but if he even so much as breathes wrong, he’s gone and I don’t want to hear anything about it. It’s my house.” Yuri grumbled and left the room.
The fights she had had with the students since then surprised her. She usually didn’t interact with the students in her house. That wasn’t her job. She was supposed to make sure they ran the house smoothly, checked that they went to their classes and didn’t break any human or demon laws. But for some reason, with this group, her control was slipping. The urge to be a part of them was strong.
She shook her head, trying to get rid of the thought. She knew what she was supposed to do, and duty, above all, was the most important thing. The cool breeze washed over her as she stood up with new resolve.

The next morning the house went about their usual routine. Nix was happily cooking his normal bacon and eggs, popping toast into the toaster, and starting the sauce for the spaghetti he was serving for dinner later that night. Raphael and Tuki were looking over last minute homework. Mike and Trista ambled in and sat at their seats. Vincent was setting the table, and Damy walked in with a very sleepy Viki.
“I seriously think that we should petition for classes to start after noon..” Viki grumbled
“Now, love, you don’t mean that. I’ll get you some coffee and you’ll be just fine.” Damy chuckled, patting her on her back.
“Yea, yea, fuck you…stupid morning person…” Viki mumbled sitting in her seat with a huff.
Damy just smiled and proceeded to pour Viki and himself cups of coffee with lots of milk and sugar. “Thanks.” Viki mumbled and sipped at her coffee.
“No problem love.” Damy smiled and sipped at his coffee.
Vincent, done setting the table, grabbed himself a cup of coffee and sat at the table. Nix announced that breakfast was ready and dished out the food. Yuri came out of hiding in a very stuffy looking suit and sat down at the head of the table.
“Damn sexy, where the hell are you going?” Vincent joked.
“Don’t call me sexy little boy.” Yuri hissed. “Look I have an announcement to make so just be quiet unless you want to be the only idiots who don’t know anything when you get to the school this morning.”
“Vincent’s being a dick like always, do go on Yuri. Please.” Viki said, very much awake and the hint of a fight.
“Thank you. Late last night I received an order to tell you all a little secret. There are many secrets you don’t know about, but most of them will be revealed to you when you go to school today. But this one is my job.” Yuri said in an unusually calm tone of voice.
The students hung on to her every word, barely breathing.
“I am what is called a house host. My job is to provide you with a home, make sure it runs smoothly, make sure you keep to the laws of Demon World and Human World, and to make sure you go to school. Generally it is assumed that house hosts are students and that is what you are supposed to believe. For some reason, however, I have been ordered to cease the secrecy and come out so to speak. So I will no longer be attending classes with you as I now have a different job to do. Today you are ordered to go straight to your homeroom class and more will be explained there.” Yuri finished and got up out of her chair, heading for the door.
“Wait a minute, so your not a student?” Viki sputtered.
“Isn’t that what I just said? No I’m not a student. My job is to babysit you. I normally wouldn’t interact with you very much.” Yuri said, slightly annoyed.
“Why do you have to act so distant?” Damy asked.
“Because this is just a job. Plus I have other things I have to do. I’m an heir to my clan, I could get ordered to go back at any moment. It is easier to not have a lot of questions to answer. Plus you humans and half demons aren’t allowed to know too much about Demon World until your Junior year when you start your career paths.” Yuri explained, turning around.
“Well then lets get going, I want to know what’s going on.” Vincent said, getting out of his chair.
The others nodded in agreement, got up, and put their dishes in the sink. They grabbed their backpacks and walked around Yuri to exit the room. She remained standing there as they walked out the room. Vincent paused as he walked out of the room.
“You coming?” he asked.
“I will follow in a few moments, Vincent. I need to gather a few things first. I’m not going where you guys are going.” She explained.
“Alright then, see you when we get back here if I don’t see you at the school. You do look really good, Yuri.” He said quietly and left the room.

That night the residents of the house sat in the living room to study. Mike struggles through his Algebra, Viki and Damy discussed their sub-human class. Vincent, who had given up on his incredibly boring history homework, was asleep on an overstuffed chair. Raphael was helping Tuki with her science homework, both blushing eachtime their arms touched. Nix and Trista were cleaning up the kitchen and planned to help eachother with their English homework. Yuri was nowhere to be seen after the fight on the way back from school.
“Dammit!” Mike yelled, slamming his book down on the ground, causing everyone to jump. Vincent fell out of his chair with a loud “thump”.
“What the hell Mike?!” Vincent yelled annoyed and rubbing his sore behind.
“This friggin Algebra is going to kill me! It makes no sense at all!” Mike yelled.
“Calm down and stop yelling geesh. I’ll help you if you want me to, I’m pretty good at math.” Viki offered.
“Yea sure thanks, but not tonight. My brain is totally fried!” Mike moaned, holding his head in his hands.
“I think we outta call it a night anyways guys, it’s pretty late and our new classes start tomorrow.” Damy said standing up and stretching.
Everyone nodded in agreement and began to gather their things.
“May I carry your things for you Tuki?” Raphael asked.
“Sure, thanks Raphael.” Tuki smiled and handed him her books. They walked to her room chatting and laughing.
“Aww, they sure are cute together.” Damy gushed to Viki as they followed the pair up the stairs.
“Heh, yea they sure are. I can smell the romance in the air.” Viki chuckled.
“You’d never think the two shy people would hook up first.” Mike said behind them.
“Nah, Raph might be quiet but he can be assertive when he wants something.” Vincent said to Mike as they climbed up the stairs.
“Well atleast one of you is gonna get some action. Any luck with that witch lately?” Damy said jokingly, thumping Vincent on the back.
“Ahahahaha, Veery funny. Had any boyfriends lately?” Vincent said slyly.
“Hah! No, but I’m very much available. Wanna come to my room?” Damy said just as slyly and wrapped his arm around Vincent’s shoulders.
“Oh no, no no, NO. Totally don’t swing that way man. But MIKE here on the other hand…” Vincent smiled and dragged Mike close “…. Looooves strapping young men like yourself.”
“Woah, no way dude. Sorry Daemion but I like girls. Dicks totally don’t do it for me man. Vince, you’re an asshole.” Mike grumbled and lightly punched Vincent on the arm
“Hey man I was just trying to get you laid. You seem pretty desperate to me.” Vincent chuckled, rubbing his arm.
“Not all of us are horny little bastards Vince.” Mike said.
“Oh, yea, thanks. I do occasionally get lucky. The ladies just can’t resist!” Vincent proclaimed happily.
“Oh, trust me Vincent, we have noo trouble resisting you.” Viki laughed from behind them.
“Ooohhh, kill shot!” Vincent exclaimed, dramatically clutching at his heart.
“I’m sure you’ll live.” Viki laughed.
“I’m going to go nurse my wounded heart…” Vincent sighed and dragged himself to his room still clutching his heart.
Viki, Damy, and Mike laughed and said goodnight.

Meanwhile, one of the residents was still fuming on the roof. Yuri lay on the highest part of the roof, staring up into the stars. She recalled the other times she had lived in this house with other students. How much different this assignment was compared to the past ones. This was the first year a dog had been assigned to her. She had caused quite a commotion when she had learned this. Her most memorable one being with Miss X.
“Why in the hell is there a DOG in my house? I made it very clear that would never, ever host one of those monsters.” She hissed at Miss X.
They were in Miss X’s office right before the semester was going to start.
“Look there was nowhere else that we could put him. He’s very smart, has a clean record, and the council believes he could be of some use to them politically.” Miss X explained.
“WHAT?! Dogs are slaves, they shouldn’t even be educated beyond house work let alone have a place in our government. They chose their fates generations ago.” Yuri exclaimed, furiously slamming her fist on Miss X’s desk.
“Things are changing, Miss Ottirin. You, as future head of the cats, need to realize this. The council is seriously considering forgiving the dogs, including your father. The reason for their enslavement has nearly been forgotten.
“Okay, first off, I am not the future clan leader. My brother, Trey, is. All I can do is help train the children of our future. I will always hold a grudge against the monsters who took my mother away from me and all but killed my father.”

Also, on a side note I am changing somethings, the major ones being I'm bumping the characters ages up to about 18 for everyone. I looked at all the shit we were going to put them thorough and honestly I don't think a 14 year old could handle it lol. Also, Daemon Academy is now a college instead of a high school. SO I modified a few things in the previous chapters, but they're not very noticeable :). So I hope you liked and I'll try to get more up soon!

I've decided to start writing mine and Korinas long neglected story Daemon Academy. These charachters are still in my head and won't leave me alone any more. Though I have to admit it's been hard trying to reconnect with the story. Luckily I have lots of notes and stuff to look back on that will definitly help me. Though if I get a job anytime soon it'll be slow going lol. Tell me what you think Korina, it was your thing too.

I'm not really sure why but for a while now I've been a little depressed and I'm not sure why. I can't seem to find a job, and my home life hasn't improved any at all. My stepdad is the most stressful person to live with alive. My love life is a little better. I'm dating again, I finally left Mark in the dust (yay!! lol). I just hope I can perk up soon and hopefully find a damn job. The job market SUCKS right now.
